Meet Sheila Dingels

I began Successful Simplicity in 2004 as an extension to my professional experience in counseling and community organizations. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with almost 15 years experience working with families, students, and non-profit boards. I also developed and facilitated educational classes, trainings, and support groups.

Although I enjoyed my social work practice, I realized that I missed having one-on-one relationships with clients. So I decided to put my professional skills to use on a more personal level, by starting my organizing business. My background in counseling  creates an empathetic and understanding base for my approach to working with you on your organizing project. I’ve partnered with my clients on a wide variety of projects including clearing and reorganizing bedrooms, kitchens, home offices, and craft rooms. I've also helped clients organize their time more effectively and deal with attention difficulties. I love what I do, so let me put my passion for organizing to work for you!

I've been featured live on FOX9 Morning News, the Next Stage Business Radio Show, in various print and online publications including the StarTribune Sunday Homes Section, and was even interviewed in a podcast from Australia. I've also been reviewed and received top ratings on Angie's List, Facebook, and Google Business.

I’m a member of the Minnesota and National Association of Professional Organizers; being a member of NAPO demonstrates my personal commitment to a code of ethics in handling your private possessions and information. I'm also a member of NAPO's Golden Circle, a designation demonstrating an elevated level of experience.  I believe in getting involved in my community, so in addition to volunteering with our NAPO Minnesota chapter in a variety of roles, I have volunteered in several events at Arc's Value Village, speaking on organizing topics and helping organize their stores.
