I began Successful Simplicity as an extension to my professional experience in counseling and community organizations. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with almost 15 years experience working with families, students, and non-profit boards. I also developed and facilitated educational classes, trainings, and support groups.
I decided to put my professional skills to use on a more personal level, in the field of home organization. I’m a member of the Minnesota and National Association of Professional Organizers, and am currently serving as NAPO-MN's Immediate Past President. Prior to this I have served as Vice President and Secretary for NAPO-MN. I'm also a member of NAPO's Golden Circle, a designation demonstrating an elevated level of experience.
I’ve assisted clients with a wide variety of projects including clearing and reorganizing bedrooms, kitchens, home offices, and craft rooms. I've also helped clients organize their time more effectively and deal with attention difficulties.
I've been featured on FOX9 Morning News, the Next Stage Business Radio Show, in various print and online publications, and was even interviewed in a podcast from Australia.
